Motsepe Advertising’s Rewriting Its Playbook.

Johannesburg, South Africa - 18 March 2025: Leading digital storytelling experts Motsepe Advertising, one of Johannesburg’s top 10 advertising agencies, is embarking on a new chapter with a bold rebrand that reinforces its commitment to being storytelling experts with disruptive creativity. Under the theme “Rewriting the Motsepe Advertising Playbook,” the agency is turning its lens inward to reflect why they are experts in brand storytelling. 


Our previous brand world, while undeniably striking, doesn’t fully capture the essence of who we are and the value we bring to our clients. This rebrand marks a transformative shift, one that solidifies our role as the agency that turns advertising into powerful, compelling storytelling. As we evolve, we are reinforcing our position as the go-to experts who don’t just talk about great advertising - we create it! 


Gee Motsepe, Managing Director at Motsepe Advertising expresses the plans that the agency has in 2025; “Motsepe Advertising is not just evolving, we’re redefining what it means to be a creative powerhouse. The agency’s new logo embodies this transformation, featuring a custom typography that sets it apart with a rocket embedded in the letter ‘M,’ symbolising its mission to launch “out-of-this-world” ideas. This strategic refresh emphasises Motsepe Advertising’s role as a thought leader in the advertising industry, blending youthful energy with bold, disruptive creativity. 

With the rebrand having gone live on 7 March 2025 across social media and the company’s website, the agency’s message was clear: it is ready to take on bigger, bolder campaigns and redefine the advertising landscape.
